Lähisuhdeväkivalta on valitettavan yleinen ilmiö. Maailmanlaajuisesti lähisuhdeväkivalta on jo pandemia. Se on ollut lisääntymässä jo muutaman vuoden ajan, eivätkä palvelut pysy perässä.
